Linux XP is based on Ubuntu 9.10, so I think this DTM Racing game will work on Ubuntu 9.10 too.You must have wine installed on the Ubuntu to run this game, since they package this game in .exe format.

How to Install Avira Antivirus on Mandriva One 2010

I am not fully satisfied with my Avira Antivirus installation process on my Mandriva One 2010. But anyway I want to share my experience of installing this antivirus inside Mandriva One 2010. Avira provide a free anti-virus solution for Linux desktop and server. You can choose the personal version to get the free one.
Ok, here are the steps to install Avira Antivirus onMandriva One 2010:
1. Download the package of this Avira Antivirus for Linux from here.
2. Since the downloaded package is in .tar.gz format, you will need to extract this package first. Simply right click on the file and choose extract here. Or, you want the hard way? Use this command on the terminal:
tar -xvf antivir_workstation-pers.tar.gz
3. Move to your extracted directory and start install this Avira Antiivirus using this command:
cd antivir-workstation-pers-3.0.5-13
4. Install Avira Antivir using this command:
./install
5. Follow the wizard and answer the question to set up some basic configuration.
6. These steps above will completely install the Avira Antivirus core, and doesn’t provide any GUI. I am still searching on how to activate the GUI.
