How to Recover BitLocker password on USB Drive

bitlocker-recover Windows Vista and Windows 7 include the BitLocker drive encryption technology to encrypt the drive. I am wondering how to recover the password if we lost the BitLocker password, because its very strong. Las time I try this bit locker on my USB drive, I  am running Windows 7.

At the beginning everything goes well, till I lost my password. And I never write the password anywhere. So, is there any way to recover the bit Locker password??

Anyone can help me on this?

    Hi

I got a question and hopefully I can get a solution to my question. So I recently tried the Bit-locker option of win 7 (32-bit) on my external USB hard drive and it was great and all. So I had turned off the bit-locker on my external drive after sometime and I had no worries regarding the password. But then I formatted my laptop and reinstalled Win 7 (64-bit) and had backed up everything on the external drive.

Once I connected to the laptop to put the back up data back. The hard drive was locked and was asking for the recovery key and not password. I still have the password but not the recovery key which is a 48 digit key which I definitely do not have since it was on the hard disk as well as the win 7 (32-bit). So what can I do now?, I got myself stuck in a bad situation?

I really would be grateful on any advice as to what to do. Thanks
