How to install the official release of google chrome on ubuntu karmic koala

Google has announce the release of Google Chrome for Linux. This time I would like to show you how to install Google Chrome in Ubuntu Karmic Koala in just simple way. Google has already provide the binary installation file for Ubuntu in .deb format. So we only need to download the file and install.

To install the Google Chrome inside your Karmic Koala follow these steps:

1. Download the installable file, based on your system

Download Chrome for Ubuntu 32 bit

Download Chrome for Ubuntu 64 bit

2. Then simply couble click the file inside your Ubuntu, then your package manager should open up and do the installation. If you want ot install using terminal, simply execute this command below:

sudo dpkg –i yourfilename.deb

 Replace yourfilename.deb with the actual file name (.deb)
