This tutorial will show you how to install Windows Live Writer on Windows 7. As you know, Windows Live Writer is a free tool from Microsoft to create posts that support many blogging provider like blogspot, wordpress, msn, and many more. The version used in this tutorial is Windows Live Writer 14.0.8089.726. Please note that this installation needs an active internet connection.

1. Navigate to http://download.live.com.writer. Push the download button

2. You will be redirected to the download location site.

3. Now you should see something like the picture below. You can choose to save or run this exe file.

4. Then you must choose the programs you want to install. In this example I only choose the Writer program. You can install another program later.

5. Now simply wait until the installation is finished.

6. Enjoy Windows Live Writer under Windows 7
