print to PDF Using Free PDFCreator 0.9.9
Last time I was using pirated Adobe Professional 9.0 to create PDF from my GIS applications. Until I found this PDFCreator 0.9.9, an open source application to create PDF from any windows applications. The PDFCreator acts like ordinary printer, but this software will print anything into PDF. So this PDFCreator can be used as alternative to commercial software like Adobe Professional 8.0/9.0

This PDFCreator is a powerful application and even its free, the PDFCreator is very usable, easy to install and configure. I use this PDFCreator on my Windows 7 and its working very well. The installation only takes a few second with option to install Yahoo Toolbar. But you can disable if you don’t want to. Thanks to the developer.
This is simple how to configure this PDFCreator on Windows 7:
1. Download the PDFCreator installer
2. Now install the PDFCreator using standard method.

3. Follow the instruction on the installation wizard until it finished.

4. Then you can start print anything into PDF. Here is my example. I want to create PDF from this word document

5. Now go to File | Print or simply press CTRL + P

6. Then on the Print window, make sure you set the printer into PDFCreator. Then press OK when ready. And then the PDFCreator dialog box will come up. Specify the details of your PDF file. And press Save

7. You are done. here is my final PDF screenshot using Foxit PDF reader that also free to use.
