HI, I just want to share with you on how to install the Google Chrome newest version on my Mandriva One 2010. Its very easy to install Google Chrome inside Mandriva. Please read this post to get full tutorial on installing Google Chrome on Mandriva 2010.

I’ve just install Mandriva Linux One 2010 on my Windows 7 using VirtualBox 3.12. The installation was done in just minutes and there are no annoying or confusing steps. Totally its very easy and fun to install Mandriva One 2010. At the first boot we are offered to fill the root and new user password. Then the desktop of Mandriva 2010 is come up. I was impressed with the speed of this Mandriva One 2010. To me this Linux Distro is very fast compared to OpenSuse or other popular distros.

1. First Download the Google Chrome binary files (.rpm) from the official website.

2. Select the rpm version (for Fedora/OpenSUSE). This is not the officially designed for Mandriva but its perfectly works on my Mandriva One 2010.

3. After finish downloading the installer, go to your download location and right click on the file and choose “Open with Software Installer”.

4. Then follow the wizard. You may asked to install additional software, confirm YES to continue installing Google Chrome.

5. Mandriva will install any dependencies needed to install Google Chrome. Answer YES to confirm the installation.

6. Now you can start Google Chrome  via Application | Internet | More | Google Chrome
