Hi, see you again in Mandriva tutorial. This time I will guide you how to install the Picasa 3.0 on Mandriva One 2010. Its very easy to install Picasa on Mandriva. Picasa is my favorite image editor in Windows or Linux. Its free, full features and easy to use. Picasa 3.0 brings many improvements compared to Picasa 2.7. With the new interface and some additional features.

Follow these steps to install Picasa 3.0 on Mandriva.

1. As always, Download  the Picasa binary file from here.

2. You can now directly install the binary file by double clicking on it. Or right click and Open with Software. Then the system will automatically install this software for you.

If you want to install Picasa 3.0 using command line, use this command instead:

sudo urpmi picasa-3.0-current.i386.rpm

Then you can start using Picasa 3.0 via Application | Graphic | Picasa 3.0
