First time I saw this software from its name, I was thinking that this Stellar Phoenix Linux Data recovery is a recovery software running in Linux system. Then I was wrong. This recovery software is running on Windows OS but has capabilities to recover the Linux volume and data.

The Stellar Phoenix Linux Data Recovery has simple and easy to understand interface. This software recover data from ext2, ext3, ext4 and File Allocation Table (FAT) volumes. Stellar Phoenix Linux Data Recovery provides recovery of data from deleted volumes. Data that is deleted from volumes can also be recovered by using this software. In addition, you can search volumes that were created earlier and deleted to create new volumes. Data can be recovered from these volumes too.

Stellar Phoenix Linux Data Recovery is really a nice software to recover the lost data. I personally used the software once to recover data from Ext4 File System In Linux and the software recovered 100 Percent Of data I found the Software at http://ext4-file-recovery.data-recovery-linux.com/

After a week of trying to recover from an accidental format this software has completely and utterly failed to recover anything.
It even says that there are no files on the drive even though it boots with no problems. Tried the disk clone function, now the cloned disk cannot be read by anything. Will probably have to use the manufacturers low level format program to try to make it usable again.
I’ll stop now before I start cussing.
