This short tutorial below will guide you to the installation for Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx. Its a simple one. To install Java6 on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx here are the complete steps:

- Make sure you activate the required repository. To check this, go to System|Administration|Software Sources. Go to Other Software tab and check both repository listed there. See picture below.

Minitube is a YouTube client for Linux system. With this Minitube, you do not need a browser to search and play Youtube videos. Simply type the videos on the search box then Minitube will display thumbnails for the search result. Then the video will be played for you. Its a nice and useful application to me.
