GUI Installation
Add this repository to your software source (System|Administration|Synaptic Package Manager) and then go to the Setting|Repositories menu, and choose Third-party Software), copy and paste the following line based on your distro.

For Intrepid Ibex users

Now, press the reload button to update your system, after that search for “miro”, mark for installation and click Apply.
Using command line
Open your terminal, and execute the following commands to get started.
Edit your /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
Add one of the repository line provided above, based on your system version. then save and exit the file.
Update your system
sudo apt-get update
Install Miro
sudo apt-get install miro
And to remove miro from your system, you can use this command
sudo apt-get remove --purge miro
